my thoughts
...just kidding. I am torn on the matter, as I am a big supporter of technology being an extremely useful tool for us, as teachers, in the classroom. There are so many possibilities and resources that can aid our students in the learning process. Whether it is using search engines for research projects or using apps to further understand topics and concepts, the benefits of technology in a classroom are almost endless.
On the other hand, the internet is also dangerous. One of the things that makes it so helpful, the fact that it is uncensored and full of information, also provides it with an opportunity to be harmful to our students learning and development.
Therefore, I believe that we should be censoring such aspects. Only to protect our students. It isn't something that needs to be done in an extreme fashion, but I believe that it is necessary to keep our students safe, while also allowing them to exploit the many advantages the internet, and technology, have to offer.
